HAWAII LOCAL ANESTHESIA

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

The state of Hawaii has very specific educational requirements for local anesthesia certification.  These courses have undergone the rigorous review of the Hawaii Board of Dentistry and received approval in May 2027.

There are two different pathways for anesthesia certification.

1. If you have never been certified, or if you were certified in INFILTRATION only local anesthesia, you need to register for the 60 hour FUNDAMENTAL OF LOCAL ANESTHESIA.

2. If you were certified in BLOCK LOCAL ANESTHESIA in a different state, and do not meet the certification requirements for Hawaii, you can register for the GAP or RECERTIFICATION course.

Both courses require participants to complete the online lecture and examination work prior to the hands-on session. Please review the course details to learn more.

Participants must be willing and able to give and receive injections during the hands-on sessions.

Register for your specific course and join us  Kailua Kona, HI July 24-26 for your hands-on session.

HYBRIDE LEARNING: LEARNING WHEN IT WORKS FOR YOU
